CNC Turning

CNC turning of a workpiece measuring 1 meter in diameter and 1 meter in length involves the use of a computer-controlled lathe machine designed to precisely shape large cylindrical components. This process is ideal for producing complex geometries with tight tolerances and high surface finish requirements.

The workpiece is securely clamped on the CNC lathe’s chuck or faceplate, and the spindle rotates it while cutting tools, guided by CNC programs, move along multiple axes to remove material. Operations such as facing, straight turning, taper turning, threading, and grooving can be performed automatically with high repeatability.
